Hosted by the Hull Lifesaving Museum in Partnership with Hull Public Schools

Please join us at our Windmill Point Boathouse for a brief ceremony followed by the launch of the SSG Emily M Carroll with the Hull High School woodshop boat-building team on board.

The 18 foot power skiff was built by Hull High School students, along with HHS woodshop teacher, Derek Skapars and Hull Lifesaving Museum Executive Director, Mike McGurl.

This project was made possible in part by funding from US Rowing and the Mass Cultural Council.

Although we were all disappointed that our Harbor Illumination was cancelled due to severe weather, we are pleased to announce that we are rescheduling the Forever Flare portion of the event sponsored, once again by Pyne Keohane Funeral. Please join us in celebrating, honoring, and remembering people and events through our Forever Flare memorial.

Hull is steeped in maritime history from the ships that first plied the waters of Massachusetts Bay to the lifesavers who rescued the mariners when they got into trouble to our famous lighthouses guiding ships to safety and much more. Tour leader, Sean Baggett, HLM Board Member and Hull Village resident is also an accomplished photographer and will look for photo opportunities along the way, so bring a camera.
